Book suggestions or Read-a-likes for favorite author, book, or a book you’ve recently read?
Check out RLPL’s Books and More tab and select Reading Recommendations to access NoveList Plus (type in your library card number without spaces and choose NoveList Plus) and GoodReads a social media book journal site with book reviews, recommendations, trivia, quotes, lists, and more.
Also within the Books and More tab are our Online Catalogs in which you can browse or search for book titles. If you want to place a hold on materials but are unsure how MORE has a help page with “how to’s” for requesting items, accessing account, freezing holds and more.
Car repair information? Our Auto Repair Reference Center is a database with access to car repair, care, bulletins, and diagnostics. Have your library card ready and enter all the numbers without spaces.
Career skills? Learning Express Library offers tutorials and quizzes to prepare for a professional exam or improving workplace. Learning Express Library has recently upgraded to a 3.0 system and prior users will need to re-register. Welcome Video talks you through setting up your account and accessing the many tools available to you.
Consumer Reports? Access articles from Consumer Resources. On the right side of the screen, you will notice years- click one of those years to explore the magazine’s articles by month. If you are searching for a particular item look to the upper left of your screen. In the search bar backspace current term up to the word AND (leaving that word) and type in your search term (ovens for example). Click the search button and you will find various articles from Consumer Reports on the item you are searching.
