Thyme Worn Treasures Presents and RLPL Welcomes Back William Kent Krueger.  Mr. Krueger will discuss his book Tamarack County.

The thirteenth novel in the Cork O’Connor series is finished and will be published in August.  It’s called Tamarack County, and I’ve got to tell you, I think it’s pretty good.

Tamarack County by William Kent Krueger

Here’s the skinny.  Long ago, a young Ojibwe was convicted of murder in Tamarack County.  He’s spent twenty years in prison for the crime.  Now, evidence has come to light that may prove his innocence, evidence that the prosecution possessed at the time of the trial but never shared with the defense.  When this information becomes public, those responsible for his conviction—the judge, the prosecution, the cops—begin to the pay the price for their injustice.  Murder returns to Tamarack County with a vengeance, and Corcoran O’Connor, who was the deputy responsible for collecting the evidence that convicted this man, finds himself in the cross-hairs.
