Library
Cards
Free library cards are available to all Wisconsin residents. Children under
the age of 13 need a parent or guardian's signature. Proof of current address, such as a
driver's license, state ID, or utility bill showing name and address, is required.
Two sizes of cards are available. A regular size and a key tag size that fits on
your key ring. If you would like to have both versions of the card, the cost is
$1.00 for both.

Renewals
Most materials may be renewed twice. Exceptions are anything with a hold or reservation. To renew an item, you may
logon to your
account online using your name and barcode on your library card or call
1-866-MYRENEW (1-866-697-3639). You may also bring in the item to ask for a renewal.
Fines
Fines
are charged at the rate of 10 cents per day for books, magazines, VHS
videos, and books on tape. The
fine for late DVDs is $1 per day. You can check your patron
record to see if you have
fines through the MORE online
catalog.
Reserves
Materials held by the Rice Lake Public Library, but not on the shelf, may be
reserved. Ask a staff member for assistance. You may reserve a book in person, over the
phone, or online through the MORE online
catalog.
Interlibrary
Loans
Materials not owned by the Rice Lake Public Library may be available from
another library. WISCAT
is one state-wide catalog you can browse for items from other Wisconsin
libraries. This can be checked in person or online. If you have questions, please
feel free to ask a staff member for assistance.
