Local History
The Local History collection is housed on the first floor of the library, past the audiobooks and by the paperbacks. There are two microfilm readers available for use. Both machines print images. There is a noncirculating collection of reference material related to local history, as well as items that can be checked out. The reference items for this section are shelved on the yellow steel bookshelves; the circulating books are on the wooden bookshelf. There is a metal cabinet with microfilmed issues of local newspapers. In addition, there is a locked wooden cabinet with glass doors that contain more rare and fragile items; please see a librarian to have the doors unlocked and items removed.
